The fine photographs
of the bamboo baskets were taken by a photographer renowned
in the fashion world, Ogata Keisuke. Ogata moved to the
New York City in 1977, and began his career as an assistant
for three years to photographer Albert Watson. He then began
working as an independent photographer in the competitive
world of New York fashion photography. His talent has been
recognized by the editors of Harper Bazaar, and GQ. The
reputation of his work spread, and he was soon working for
numerous prestigious clients, including Estee Lauder, and
Saks Fifth Avenue. In 1990, he returned to Tokyo, Japan,
where he continues shooting in many different cities, including
New York and Milan, for fashion magazines Marie Claire,
Elle Japon, and Ryuko-Tsushin. In the photographs for handmadejapan.com,
